Alright, so this is my first foray into the blogosphere. I’ve been reading and commenting on other blogs for a long time so I figure it is about time I start (trying) to contribute something. I see this blog as much more of a platform to share and discuss rather than a podium to pontificate, so please share however much (or little) you want on the topics at hand.
In terms of focus, my posts will be heavily weighted on technology and business, but will also touch on my other areas of interest – education, economics, music and politics. My particular areas of professional focus are digital media, consumer internet and SaaS / technology enabled services. I am also passionate about education, and driving much needed change in our current system. I strongly believe that our education system is more crucial to the future prosperity of our society today than any other time in US history. I am lucky enough to work with a terrific non-profit organization in San Francisco called the Full Circle Fund, where I focus my time on fostering the dialog around alternative teacher compensation models at both the state and district level. So… I will try to share my thoughts on this world as well.
